NABU e.V.: Protection of animals and nature in Braunschweig

nabu_schwarzstorchThe team of the “Naturschutzbund Deutschland e.V.” that is responsible for the district Braunschweig, with nearly 2.000 members, puts itself out for the protection of local animals and nature. Among their activities are the protection of amphibious, bats, hornets and biotopes as well as counting raptors and owls.

The association in Braunschweig was founded in 1908 and is represented by the actual chairman Prof. Dr. Friedmund Melchert.
